Pik’D is pleased to present Ahryun Lee’s new collection The Bloom of Joy – Bloomtopia, 2025  at prestigious PAD London. In her new body of work, Ahryun explores the vitality and resilience of existence through the symbolic language of flowers. The inspiration draws from the Korean modern poem by Kim Chun-soo (1922-2004), which her mother shared with her when she first left home. 

“When I called his name, he came to me and became a flower.”

This verse has become a lasting source of strength, embodying resilience, optimism, and the beauty of becoming. Lee’s sculptures evoke forms that are both organic and otherworldly, suggesting the process of blooming into oneself, flourishing in adversity, and radiating joy. 

The Bloom of Joy, Bloomtopia envisions a poetic landscape of blooming – an ode to hope and the enduring energy of life.
